Mini projectors on sale on Amazon ahead of Prime Day as of Oct. 6:

FAN FAVORITE: VANKYO Leisure 3 mini projector — save $15

MOST SAVINGS: APEMAN 4500L mini projector — save $61

BEST FOR KIDS: Anker Nebula Astro Portable Projector — save $40

A projector is a fun, space-saving investment for movie nights — and a mini projector (aside from being very cute) is a great option for kids’ rooms, cramped apartments, and even small outdoor spaces.

One note: They won’t sub in for a full-size projector, which can run in the hundreds, even thousands of dollars. If you want the full home theater experience, definitely opt for one of those.

If you’re just looking for something low-key, though, these little guys are a good bet. We found three on sale.

It’s difficult to find a good projector for under $100, but VANKYO’s Leisure 3 mini projector is perhaps a rare exception. It weighs just over two pounds, projects a clear picture considering its size, and has decent built-in sound quality, according to reviewers. It’s on sale for $84.99, which is 15% off its list price of $99.99.

Another option is this mini projector from APEMAN, which you can get for about 47% off if you use Amazon’s coupon on the product listing. It’s bright, can project onto screens up to 180 inches (though it probably won’t be a gorgeous image at that size), and has a surprisingly quiet fan, reviewers say. It also has built-in speakers — though we recommend using external speakers for most projectors, especially mini ones.

This projector is on sale for $85.99, which is a 34% discount from its list price of $129.99. You can get an extra 20% off with Amazon’s built-in coupon, bringing the price to just under $69.

This spherical projector looks like a little Star Wars droid and is Bluetooth-compatible: two big factors in its favor. It’s more expensive than the projectors above, but you won’t always have to rely on cords if you want to connect it with another device, which is a major plus. It’s on sale for $239.99, which is 14% off its list price of $279.99.
