The Chicago Bulls are recruiting Marc Eversley as the franchise’s General Manager, League sources tell ESPN.
Eversley, senior Vice President of player personnel with the 76ers in Philadelphia, agreed to the deal late Sunday night to join the new Executive Vice President of basketball operations Arturas Karnisovas and Chicago, sources said.
Eversley, Canada is the first black GM in Bulls history.
Eversley will work with Karnisovas in re-shaping one of the NBA’s historic franchises. Karnisovas has now been hired to Eversley assistant GM J. J. Polk and Vice President of player who shot Connally, because the arrival of The Denver Nuggets earlier this month.
Eversley had to climb over the front office role with the Sixers, Washington Wizards and Toronto Raptors. He spent ten years working at Nike.
Bulls President Michael Reinsdorf has completed a re-shaping of the Bulls’front office, including leaving a long-term executives John Paxson and Gar Forman. Paxson is the remaining of an Advisory role, but Karnisovas and Eversley is now front and center in the running of the organization.
