Disturbing new video released by police shows a man holding a 64-year-old woman at knifepoint during an attempted robbery in Queens.
The brief surveillance clip, released by the NYPD late Thursday, shows the suspect with his arm around the victim’s neck as she struggles with him around 8:40 a.m. on 120th Street near 103rd Avenue in Richmond Hill.
He held a knife to her throat and demanded money, cops said.
But the victim screamed, prompting her attacker to bolt empty-handed, police said.
The victim, who was not injured, refused medical attention, police said.
Police say the suspect is between 20 and 35 years old, about 5-foot-5 and 150 pounds.
He was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt, dark-colored pants, white sneakers, green hat and a dark-colored mask.
