India-China border: Satellite images show buildup at site of deadly clash

Image from the American satellite operator Maxar technology, taken on Monday, one week after, has been described as hand-to-hand combat with sticks and clubs, leaving at least 20 Indian Army to death.
China did not give any casualties from the conflict in a valley along the line of Actual Control(LAC), the ill defined and disputed border between the two powers of the high Himalayas.

Beijing represents the deadly conflict began when the Indian Army crossed the border into Chinese-controlled territory, and trying to dismantle a tent camp erected by the Chinese troops in the Galwan Valley is known as the patrol point 14.

New satellite imagery appears to show a large expansion of the Chinese battalion of the Bank of a river due to fighting in the evening of June 15.
“A small Outpost…has made a huge size,”Nathan Ruser, a research fellow at the Australian Strategic Policy Institute, who first shared the image, Tweeted on Thursday. “The Indian Army does not dismantle this one.”

At least one analyst, however, doubted what the image displayed.

“It seems to me, where someone is stationed, which looks like a large camp, but they removed it saying,”Why Joshi,a distinguished fellow at the Observer Research Foundation, a New Delhi think tank.

Ruser said that his analysis of satellite photographs, the display, due to the possible of the multinational force and the vehicle is within one km of the boundary has been from three to 46, and in the Indian side of this figure has decreased from 84 to 17.

Tensions continue to run high along the Latin America and the Caribbean, despite the agreement between the military leaders after the June 15 event, in order to ease the situation.

China this week said that India is fully attributed to the post-conflict Indian forces across Latin America and the Caribbean in violation of the earlier agreement.

“It is shocking that the Indian Army disclosed in violation of the agreement, breaking their own commitment and cross-Latin America and the Caribbean to provoke the country on June 15,”Wu Qian, a spokesman for China’s Defense Ministry said Wednesday. “When a country’s military forces arrived to negotiate, they were suddenly attacked by the Indian troops, and led to physical fighting between the two sides and the casualties.”

The Indian Foreign Ministry responded last Thursday, he said, China launched the deadly conflict.

“Has been in action in China has so far led to an increase in tensions in the region and the violent confrontations of the first 15 months there were casualties,”it said in a statement.

China has already established forces in the region more than a month, the Ministry said:”at the core of the problem is that since the beginning of May, China has accumulated large contingent of troops and armaments along the LAC.”

The Maxar satellite photos, released this week appear to show China has put a tank and artillery units in camps in the North of the Gogra. Another important base where the Kongka pass.

Ruser, prior to analysis published the latest satellite picture to that previously these photos showed that Chinese forces have periodically crossed Latin America and the Caribbean on patrol entered Indian territory-although not in the June 15 clashes-but this report of thousands of Chinese troops stationed in Indian territory were not confirmed.

But he paid no attention thereafter, India began to establish a new post Galwan Valley in May, China Mobile, about a thousand troops into the area.

Josh said that China had changed tactics in the region, from just patrol the disputed areas for the occupation of them.

“Now, China seems to indicate that it is in Latin America and the Caribbean should lie. It now no longer is a place where you Patrol, but a place,”he said.

The Valley portion of the region of the right part of Xinjiang, China and Ladakh, India, is cold and desolate, draped in snow with the temperature around freezing, even in summer. Located high in the Himalayas, with an average altitude of 14,000 feet(4,200 meters), almost twice the height of the altitude sickness kicks in, this means that anyone in the area must pass through a tedious, gradual acclimatization, or suffer from severe headaches, nausea and fatigue.

India and China go to war in the region in 1962, hundreds of thousands of deaths on both sides as well as between this on the long-term conflicts and Monday’s skirmish, the area saw many fist fights as well as minor clashes between the border guards and angry rhetoric from Beijing, New Delhi accused the other of Seeking beyond the de facto boundary.
