Facebook tightens control of speech as an advertising boycott of growth

Under mounting pressure from advertisers, Facebook Inc. Said it will begin to label political speech, in violation of its rules and take other measures to prevent voter suppression and the protection of minorities from abuse.

In a new policy announced Friday, shortly after the Wall Street Journal reported that consumer goods giant Unilever PLC is containment of the United States of advertising on Facebook and Twitter Inc. At least in the remainder of the year, on the grounds that hate speech and divisive content on the platform.
