The COVID tracking project launched an important statement today: a position statement of the antibody data report

Earlier this week, we learned that a couple of weeks, the Commonwealth of Virginia have been combined with viral test data and antibody test data in their public reports COVID-19. Virginia officials recommended that other countries set these two types of results, so in essence, Virginia is forced to combine them, to keep up.

Last month 13, 2020, we contacted the 44 States and territories there is no clear description about their antibody test reporting policy. Cut on 15 May, we have confirmed At least two States other than Virginia have been combined with antibody and viral test resultsAlthough only the Virginia Department of Health Record information about binding yourself to the test data set. If more countries, in fact, the combination of virus and anti-as a result, we understand that they are making a choice to increase their testing summary. However, we think it comes at too high a price.

As antibody testing becomes more widely available in the United States, each state and territory will want to select how to report this data to the public. We encourage all countries and regions for the standardized reporting of antibody and viral test results of separate and adequate, allowing the government, journalists and the public remain exposed to the most meaningful number in the whole COVID-19 outbreaks in the United States.
Emphasis added

This means that the number of tests is reported too high, and the percentage of the positive may be lower than is reported. We hope that States will be tested separately in all reports.

We can test with 400 000 to 600 000 people a day sometime in May according to Fauci, Dr.-this may be enough to test and track.

However, we may need more than 900,000 of the Test Day, according to Dr. Jha at Harvard Global Health Institute.

378,410 test results reported in the past 24 hours.

This data is from COVID tracking project.

The percentage is past the 24 hours to 6. 9%(red line) is. The United States may need enough test to maintain a positive percentage much lower than 5% or more. (Could be much lower on the basis of the Test New Zealand).
